Leave it to Nike to always honor the traditional celebrations of Lunar New Year with a special footwear and apparel collection. And this year, the brand has readied a barrage of commemorative kicks, one being the Nike Dunk High “Year of the Tiger” that has just surfaced by way of official images.

There’s plenty of striking details to go through on these sneakers, all of which are dispersed throughout the base layer. Uppers are divided into three sections as the toe boxes come supplied with a light gray suede while the quarters are drenched in black and the heels are fittingly accessorized with black and yellow tiger stripes to honor this year’s Chinese zodiac sign. From an up-closer perspective, you can see the tonal floral embroidery that is stitched onto the Swooshes as well as the overlays that are positioned by the throat and on the collars. A satin shroud with gilded Nike branding has been added to the tongues and Chinese characters have been embedded into the toe boxes. Moreover, the insoles have been styled with a bold orange tint and they house another set of tiger stripes inside to echo its theme.

Nike hasn’t confirmed a release date just yet, but enjoy an official look at the shoes above in the meantime.

For other sneaker-related news, the Swoosh recently unveiled “Orange” and “Barley” Dunk Low “Paisley Pack” colorways.
