Moncler Launches Second Instalment of Its “Born to Protect” Collection
“A clear commitment to create a better future and protect people and the planet”.

Following the launch of its eco-conscious “Born to Protect” collection last year, Moncler returns for 2022 with the second instalment, which this time extends beyonds outerwear to include a full range of ready-to-wear apparel.
Moncler — who were listed as one of the world’s most sustainable brands in November for the third consecutive year — have once again utilised recycled nylon and polyester, as well as organic cotton and host of other sustainable practices, to craft a collection comprising menswear, womenswear and kidswear.
The “Born to Protect” insignia adorns the exterior of every piece, while inside the jackets a playful comic strip featuring Monduck — who has been gracing the inner lining of Moncler jackets since the 1960s — can be found, telling the story of the brand’s approach to lower impact materials.
What began as a mission to protect from the cold has now evolved into a commitment to protect people and the planet, a monumental task acknowledged in the campaign with the words: “We used to climb mountains. Now, we must move them”.
The full “Born to Protect” collection is available to buy now from the Moncler webstore, while more information on the collection’s materials can be found here.
