Following two summer-ready “Cerulian” and “White” colorways, the Jordan Brand constructs a new Jordan Delta 2 utilizing the iconic “University Blue” hue. Despite the modest amount of popularity, the silhouette still garners some love with its unique retrofuturistic aesthetic made with a variety of heavily textured uppers.

While the shoe has received a number of colorways in the past such as the previous “Grape” and “Infinite Lilac,” this latest edition is made out in the beloved baby blue hue which was last seen on the Air Jordan 11 and Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 “First Use.” Over a white mesh base embroidered with the Jumpman’s branding elements a mix of suede leather overlays in “University Blue” shape the shoe from the toe cap, eyestays and heel cap with an icy blue TPU mold supporting the lateral. A Harbor Gray hue outfits the flat laces over a nylon tongue featuring additional cavities for a secure fit. The sockliner, heel tab and React equipped midsole are done in the same shade over a white textured outsole.

In the meantime, have a look at the official images above with more details of the Jordan Delta 2 “University Blue” to surface soon.

Elsewhere in footwear, Reebok and Warner Bros. tapped into ’90s nostalgia for a playful Looney Tunes collection.
