Diving headfirst into the New Year, Daniel Arsham previews the launch of his latest sculpture piece tagged as the “Crystal Relic 004” which takes the form of a Playstation controller. Georgia rapper Gunna recently dropped his Drip Season 4 album with the cover art featuring a diamond-filled statue of himself wearing an iced-out chain and black, angular sunglasses which was designed by the contemporary artist.

This latest installment joins his series of “Crystal Relic” transparent craft sculptures which launched back in March of last year. Previously released in the lineup were the “Crystal Relic 001” hat, “Crystal Relic 002” Game Boy and “Crystal Relic 003” camera. Similar to the former pieces, the life-size transparent controller is made from cast resin molded from the original proportions and measures 55mm high, 95mm wide and weighs 295 grams. The sculpture comes with gloves and a holographic label to certify the authenticity of the artwork.

Daniel Arsham’s “Crystal Relic 004” is slated to drop on January 14 in a limited number of 500 and will be shipped out to collectors by the end of March. Interested parties may head over to the Arsham Editions website.
