Another day, another adidas Originals Response CL colorway. Following on from the just-revealed Bad Bunny collaboration and its similar GR counterpart comes this “Metal Grey” iteration, perfect for the last of the winter months.

Naturally, the Response CL serves up its classic adidas running aesthetic alongside a slew of proprietary technology such as adiPRENE+, pro-moderator TPU to tilt your feet inwards, Torsion stability, adiWear outsoles, and Formotion. This all comes together in a package enhanced with classic adidas touches such as the EQT logo on the adidas-branded tongue tag and heel, breathable mesh underpinning the shoe’s upper, and plenty other materials appearing alongside this.

For example, the Three Stripes are made from slate-blue plastic, while suede and leather has been used to create the signature early 2000s shapes on the upper, giving the Response CL its retro dad sneaker vibe.

adidas Originals’ Response CL “Metal Grey” retails for £100 GBP (approx. $137 USD) and can be bought from Wood Wood now.
