The Slovakian footwear makers — who in the past has teamed up with the likes of Stutterheim, COMME des GARÇONS and Les Basics — has reworked a selection of archetypal brand silhouettes this season, including the Star Master, Marathon and German Trainer.
Founded by Jan Antonin Bata in the small town of Partizánske, Slovakia, in the 1930s, Novesta has become renowned for its durable footwear, so much so that it became the footwear of choice for many of the armed forces across Europe. More recently the label is recognised mostly for its Star Master silhouette, which boasts an unmistakable chunky sole complete with vulcanisation marks.
Now for FW21, Novesta returns to its Star Master silhouette, as well as the more-recent Marathon and German Trainer, to rework them in a plethora of colorways for a fresh unisex footwear capsule.
You can take a look at some of the styles in the lookbook above, and purchase Novesta’s FW21 collection via the brand’s online webstore.
