Lil Nas X and Jean Paul Gaultier Release Colorful ‘Montero’ Mesh Top

To celebrate the release of his debut studio album Montero, Lil Nas X and Jean-Paul Gaultier have teamed up for a clothing capsule. Lil Nas X first hinted at a collaboration with the French fashion designer this past Friday, when Montero was released.
The limited-edition drop is so far comprised of a unisex tulle top featuring a colorful print that pays tribute to the Montero era. On the design, Lil Nas X is front and center with white angel wings and a matching halo accompanied by two red cherubic demons lowering a crown onto his head. Elsewhere on the print are butterflies, flowers, and heaven and hell motifs.
Made in Italy, the top features a stretchy cut, crew neck and raw edge. Images on the site suggest that an accompanying pant may also be released in the future.
Last week, Lil Nas X dropped his 17-track debut album, which features appearances from Jack Harlow, Elton John, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion and Miley Cyrus. In addition, Kanye West, Take a Daytrip, Roy Lenzo and Omer Fedi contributed to the album’s production.
Retailing for €333 EUR (about $391 USD) the top is available for pre-order today only on Jean Paul Gaultier’s website and is limited to 666 pieces. Delivery of the top is slated for sometime between October 15 through October 30.
