'Knights of the Old Republic' is Being Remade Exclusively for the PS5
The iconic RPG is coming back.
Announced during the 2021 PlayStation showcase last week, BioWare‘s iconic 2004 Star Wars RPG, Knights of the Old Republic, is now set to receive a remake. Currently in development by Aspyr, the updated version of the beloved title will be a “console exclusive on PlayStation 5.”
According to Ryan Treadwell, the lead producer of the project, “We’re rebuilding one of the greatest RPGs of all time for a new generation with modern tech, features, visuals and more, while maintaining the integrity of the story and characters that we’ve come to cherish.” Adding that the team working on the remake features “industry veterans” and names tied to the original video game.
