J. Cole's PUMA RS-DREAMER "E-Line" Salutes the NYC Subway System
Specifically, the Blue Line, which connects Queens and Manhattan — two boroughs Cole has a deep personal history with.

J. Cole may be from North Carolina, but he’s got deep roots in New York City as well. From attending St. John’s University to performing sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, the Big Apple has played a big part in Cole’s come-up — so he’s saluting the train that carried him from Queens to Manhattan and back with his newest PUMA RS-Dreamer: the “E-Line.”
Running from Jamaica, Queens to lower Manhattan, the E line is also known as the “blue line,” so this RS-Dreamer is dressed in a duo of blue shades. A rich sport blue covers the majority of the upper and midsole, while a chilly ice blue supplies contrast on the lateral forefoot and medial midfoot overlays, the midsole’s heel and the tongue’s branded hit.
Cole’s Dreamville logo appears on the heel, and the unique lacing system snakes around the collar to add texture. Cushioning and comfort are provided by the midsole’s ProFoam technology, which is combined with running foam from the PUMA RS series for a hybrid feel. The “E-Line” also follows up other NYC-themed releases like the RS-Dreamer “Aquarius.”
The J. Cole x PUMA RS-Dreamer “E-Line” is available now via the PUMA webstore, and is priced at $125 USD.
