Endless Joy’s FW21 Collection Is Yet Another Work of Art
Striking works exhibited on eco-friendly materials.
Endless Joy’s homage to the history of human symbolism, mythology and art continues this season, as it calls on the imagery found in the hallucinogens of world culture and comparative mythology. The label, which was founded by artists Stevie and Alexandra Anderson, is an ongoing art project that sees the duo exhibit works on carefully-selected eco-friendly materials.
For Fall/Winter 2021, the label has called on various works like “Jungle”, “Therianthrope” and “Palm” which adorn silk shirts and linen shorts and canvas trousers, while more in-depth pieces like “Mandevilles Trip” — a story of a traveller embarking on a journey deep into the unknown — is found on a duo of eco viscose shirts.
“Leda and the Swan” — a story from Greek mythology — is one of the most enduring themes in art history and dresses a satin silk shirt and short duo, as an expressive “My Best Friend” piece forms a dramatic look across another silk satin number.
Hand-knitted jumpers, woven jacquard blankets and a variety of outerwear pieces round out the collection, with each item made in strictly limited numbers. For each item sold, Endless Joy plants three trees, while a percentage of all profits go to charity.
