BEAMS and Reebok Officially Unveil Its Club C Laceless Mule Collaboration
The Japanese fashion retailer focuses on brighter neutrals for its laceless team-up.
BEAMS and Reebok are far from strangers when it comes down to crafting collaborative footwear together. So far, the Japanese retailer has lent its creative touch to silhouettes like the Beatnik, Instapump Fury, Classic Workout Lo and more, and now, this partnership is slated to extend with a laceless Club C mule.
“We couldn’t be more excited to work with Reebok once again,” said Shingo Arai, the Head of Buying at BEAMS. “The Club C’s major appeal is its classic look with a trendy feel. When designing the Club C Laceless Mule, we wanted to keep that overarching idea, but focus on creating a shoe that could be worn by everyone and used as both a standout and neutral accessory.”
This unisex offering leans on brighter neutral tones for its top and bottom halves. Uppers are done up in Reebok‘s classic white hue, and features accents of “Cold Grey” on the co-branded tongues. Insoles also feature a co-branded hit but deviate with solid black font. Much like previously released team-ups from these two parties, these are outfitted with interchangeable custom window boxes that don Reebok and BEAMS logos on the left side while the right shoe bears a なまえ spell out.
The BEAMS x Reebok Club C Laceless Mule will be available via BEAMS on September 25, and a worldwide drop will follow via Reebok and other fashion retailers on October 1. Retail price is set at $120 USD.
