Nike’s Lahar Low Has Been Given an Earthy “Fossil Stone” Makeover
The latest iteration of the 1989 hiking-inspired silhouette.

Fresh off the back of its “Madeira/Dark Beetroot” and “Hemp/Smoke” releases, Nike’s Lahar Low silhouette now drops in an natural and earthy “Fossil Stone” colorway.
Originally released in 1989, the Lahar became an instant hit in the world of hiking footwear thanks to its lugged, chunky sole and heavy duty laces. Revived towards the end of 2020, the Lahar was updated with a lower profile than its original and covered in “Wheat” and black.
Now for Fall/Winter 2021 the label returns to the women’s archival silhouette to dress it in an all-over “Fossil Stone”. Crafted with a smooth premium suede, the Lahar Low is completed with the aforementioned chunky rubber sole, metal eyelets and retro-inspired branding at the head and side wall.
Nike’s Lahar Low “Fossil Stone” is available to buy now from Goodhood, retailing at £115 (approximately $160 USD).
Elsewhere in the world of footwear, New Balance has dressed its famed 991 in a “Grey/Blue” colorway.
