Here's an On-Foot Look at the Nike Dunk High "Midnight Navy"
Another collegiate colorway to add to your rotation.
It’s unclear as to when Dunks will start to see a downwards spiral in terms of its popularity, but as long as collaborators keep applying their own touch on the silhouette and its SNKRS drops continue to sell out, Nike is going to keep on milking this movement. Collegiate colorways are certainly many of the silhouette’s stronger offerings, and so the Swoosh team has decided to bring back yet another “Be True to Your School” iteration — the Nike Dunk High “Midnight Navy”. This particular variation harks back to its original 1985 collection and is symbolic of Villanova University.
Like many of its institutional counterparts, this variation sees through to a two-toned presentation. Toe boxes, quarter panels, tongues and ankle collars are all outfitted with a clean white outer, and come paired up next to overlays, side Swooshes and laces that are all dyed in its nominal shade. More navy hits are also distributed to the tongue’s Nike Air branding, the heel tabs and the entire treading. Midsoles pieces down below are dressed with a white hue to complete its Wildcats-inspired theme.
Nike has not confirmed as to when these will be dropping just yet, but note that it’ll likely be in the coming months via SNKRS and other shops for $110 USD.
