After releasing the “Black/White/Gum” iteration in its Nylon Runner, Maison Margiela releases another fall-ready variation to its sneaker in olive green.
The Patchwork Sneaker features tonal textile shaped and stitched in Margiela’s signature deconstructed style on the forefoot and sidewalls. The rear is overlayed with olive suede on the heel tab, while deep green leather arrives on the padded collar, heel, and the branded tongue. Horizontal stitches on the heel are added for a bit of contrast against the olive silhouette, while a final touch of branding can be seen at the gray heel counter in the form of a numbers logo. Gum rubber outsoles deliver a touch of retro flair to finish off the look of the sneakers.
Maison Margiela’s Patchwork Sneaker in “Olive” is priced at $803 USD and is available now over at HBX.
