A Trio of Team-Inspired New Balance 550 Colorways Have Been Revealed
Dropping in “White/Team Royal, “White/Team Red” and “White/Green” colorways.

If New Balance were to make its own “starting five” of its strongest lifestyle silhouettes at the moment, there’s a high chance that it would include the cult classic 550. The return of this 1989 bring-back has been strategic as it was first reintroduced through a collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore back in 2020, and since then it’s sky rocketed in popularity and has released in a variety of other team-ups and inline colorways. To kick off the final month of the Summer, the model will be dropping in a trifecta of new team-inspired “White/Team Red”, “White/Team Royal” and White/Green” colorways
While the New Balance 550 has been proffered up in GR colorways before, this new set differentiates itself with its color-blocking methods. Each take bears crisp white leather uppers paired up with synthetic heel collars, and comes balanced out with solid black accents that tumble onto the molds towards the lower heel, leather overlays that dress up the toe box the trim around the throat and the overlays that sit closest to the ankle. The bursts of titular hues show face on the “N” logos, tongue branding, heel overlays, “550” forefoot notations and outsoles.
Parties interested in copping can do so via New Balance on September 1 for $110 USD.
