Lionel Messi Officially Signs With Paris Saint-Germain
Ending his lifelong association with Barcelona.

After an emotional farewell to his lifelong club Barcelona recently, Lionel Messi has now officially signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Following speculation and negotiations — in which PSG quickly emerged as the only likely destination — the news was announced through a video posted on PSG’s Instagram.
While the initial announcement did not show Messi, and the caption hinted at a more formal reveal to come, it featured his Ballon d’Or trophies in front of the Eiffel Tower, and a vacant dressing room seat between Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.

PSG have announced a press conference on Wednesday August 11, where Messi will be officially presented to the world as their player.
“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the signing of Leo Messi on a two-year contract with an option of a third year,” the team’s official account wrote on Instagram under a photo of Messi holding his jersey.
