adidas’ Springy 4DFWD Pulse Lights up in “Signal Green”
The new silhouette features a thick chunk of 4D heel cushioning, angled to assist a runner through their stride.

adidas has been evolving its 4D line this summer, and the latest piece of that push forward is the springy 4DFWD Pulse. An adidas Running silhouette that boasts a “precisely coded” midsole and 3d-printed details for optimum fit and feel, the 4DFWD Pulse follows up other new-jack 4D models like the 4DFWD and 4D Cush, thrusting some of adidas’ most advanced tech into the spotlight in an entirely new fashion.
The 4DFWD Pulse’s build screams speed and springiness, with a sustainable PRIMEGREEN black and green mesh upper offset by a thick slab of latticed 4D cushioning on the heel. This 4D setup tilts downwards from heel to midfoot to assist the runner — or walker — through their stride, and is given extra support by reinforced foam pieces in the heel and forefoot. Apart from the bright color, hi-vis reflective detailing on the midfoot’s Three Stripe graphic ensures low light visibility, and a sharply-shaped green heel piece completes the look.
Expect the adidas 4DFWD Pulse “Signal Green” to release on the adidas webstore come August 12. Its MSRP is set at $160 USD.
