Tom Brady might be hanging up his jersey very soon. Arguably the greatest quarterback the sport has ever seen, Brady holds a number of NFL records including seven Super Bowl Championship titles.

The longevity of his professional football career has amazed fans and sports critics worldwide. However, recently Brady’s trainer spoke on The Adam Schefter Podcast, touching on Brady’s career. He shared, “I think the biggest accomplishment from me will come probably if we make it through age 45 because that’s what his goal was. That will probably be the proudest moment for me, to say, ‘Hey, we actually did it.’ I know from my perspective that I want to honor my promise to him in helping him with his goal. If his goal changes, no problem. If he says, ‘Hey, I think I’m going to call it a day,’ then great. No problem. I will 100 percent support that.”

At the moment, Brady does not appear to be ready just yet to throw in the towel on his NFL career. The QB, who is now 43, recently spoke on an episode of SiriusXM Town Hall with Jim Gray, saying “Things change as you get older and there’s a lot of different responsibilities I have in my life. My kids and my family is certainly very important and they made a lot of sacrifice over a long period of time to watch me play. So, you know, I owe it to them, too.”

Brady added, “I play because I love the game. I play because I love to compete. We shouldn’t stop our life, even though we love something because it’s just, someone puts an arbitrary timeline on that. And I felt for a long time, I could play until I was 45 years old. I think I committed to say, ‘Hey, I’m going to play till I’m 45.’ And this year I’ll be 44, which naturally takes me to the next year. I’ve got a two-year contract. We’ll see what happens beyond that.”

The next two seasons sees Tom Brady continuing to fulfill his contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
