This Scarr's Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 Pair Sold for Over $120K USD
Quite the pretty penny for the friends and family only sneaker.

In 2019, Scarr’s Pizza of the Lower East Side in NYC teamed up with Nike to produce a specially-made Air Force 1 Low. Sneaker don DJ Clark Kent along with Scarr Pimentel — the eatery’s founder — and employee Audie Villot were responsible for designing the pizzeria-inspired kicks and it was believed that only 48 pairs were made, all of which were gifted to friends and family only. Nearly two years later, one of the pairs has resurfaced online as it was recently sold in a Sotheby’s auction for a whopping $121,649 USD.
The kicks were listed by sneaker reseller Paul Givelekian and sold via Sotheby’s recent “Fine Watches and Rare Sneakers” auction. The size 11.5 was available for bidding from June 24-July 8 and was expected to only sell for slightly above $12,000 USD. The kicks — which represent a true NY success story — also had another internet-breaking moment back in September 2020 as a size 6.5 was spotted at a Marshall’s department store and was listed for only $60 USD.
If you look these up on the secondary market right now, various sizes are currently listed for astronomical prices between $13K to $40K USD.
In case you missed it, Michael Jordan’s 1984 Olympic Trials sneakers are being listed in another Sotheby’s auction.
