Reebok's ZX Fury "A-ZX" Series Continues With an adidas ZX 8000 "Light Aqua" Inspired Colorway
The crossover colorways between the vector brand and the Three Stripes continues.
It’s been confirmed that Reebok will soon no longer be under the adidas umbrella, but while the two brands remain linked to each other, both have intentions of continuing efforts of releasing crossover products together. The next act from both parties entails them continuing the Reebok‘s ZX Fury “A-ZX” Series with a fresh take of the Reebok Instapump Fury that has been reworked to mimic the aesthetic of the OG adidas ZX 8000 “Light Aqua”.
Details from its muse are mostly visible through the shoes’ striking combination of accents. Right away, the vibant “Light Aqua” hits jump out at you along the heel cups, the backgrounds of the mid-foot stripes, the throat and on the toe boxes. “Shock Yellow” hits follow suit and get paired up with the heel molds, appear on the interior lining and lower throat as well as on the aforementioned stripes in the form of tiny lines. Synthetic side cages are given a milky appearance and they attach to a padded underlay that is dialed to a clean white. Muted purple notes also get brought to the table via the adidas banner that sits in the middle of the throat along with the pump buttons. Split midsoles alternate between “Cyan” in the heel and an eggshell hue in the forefoot.
Retailers like Fenom are dropping these on July 23 for €199 (approx. $236 USD).
Elsewhere in the realm of kicks, Reebok recently unveiled a Kamikaze II Low “Spearmint/Maximum Orange” colorway.
