'F9' To Become First American Film Since 2019 To Earn $500 Million USD Globally

F9 is now on track to set a new global box office milestone for the first time since 2019.
According to a new report from Deadline, the latest installment to the Fast & Furious franchise has managed to bring in $23.8 million USD at the international box office over the weekend, reaching top status across five new markets. The blockbuster has now brought in roughly $374.4 million USD from 50 foreign markets and is projected to rake in another $35 million USD by Monday.
Including domestic ticket sales, F9 is now at $495.1 million USD, putting it on track to surpass the $500 million USD mark in the near future. If it does so, it’ll be the first American film since 2019 to achieve the result.
F9 is now in theaters across the United States.
