SpeedKore Re-Creates Vin Diesel's 1968 Dodge Charger in 'F9'
The exact replica carries a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8.
No stranger to Dodge Chargers, American auto performance workshop SpeedKore has now re-created the very 1968 muscle car driven by Vin Diesel‘s Dominic Toretto in the latest Fast & Furious installment F9.
Aptly dubbed the Hellacious F9, the new build is an exact replica of the Charger seen on screen, and carries a massive mid-mounted 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine just behind its front seats, pumping out a whopping 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque via a six-speed manual Graziano transaxle taken off of a Lamborghini Gallardo. To place the engine there, SpeedKore had to build a custom frame for the speedster, which is complemented with a brand new carbon fiber body for reduced weight, a bespoke suspension system, as well as six-piston calipers from Brembo up front and four-piston ones at the rear.
Elsewhere in the automotive world, Aston Martin has unveiled the Valkyrie AMR PRO track car.
