Following a week of intense back-and-forths, Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are now set to face off for the third time in the Octagon.

Taking over T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for the first time since March 2020, UFC 264 sees a packed crowd anticipating the end of the trilogy. With both fighters holding knockout victories over one another, the fight will feature five, five-minute rounds and put an end to the rivalry between “The Notorious” and “The Diamond.” The upcoming Lightweight bout will also undoubtedly help dictate the future of the division.

Walkout
-Conor McGregor walks out first accompanied by his signature walkout theme.
-Carrying the Irish flag, “The Notorious” has the crowd behind him with aggressive determination on his face.
-Returning to the Octagon, McGregor hits his iconic billionaire strut.
-Met with boos, Dustin Poirier slowly makes his way to the cage.
-The two fighters get in each other’s faces in the Octagon ahead of the fight.
-Bruce Buffer makes the official announcement for the main event.
-Referee Herb Dean calls a start to the fight.

Round 1
-Conor McGregor start off with a pair of turning sidekicks and low kick.
-McGregor stings Dustin Poirier with an early left hand.
-The two exchange low kicks.
-Poirier lands a flurry, leading to the two tieing up.
-McGregor cinches a guillotine, Poirier defends and ends up on top.
-Back-and-forth elbow exchanges from the ground has the crowd going wild.
-The two get back up, both whiffing on punches, McGregor appears to have broken his leg or ankle.
-Herb Dean calls a stop to the fight.
