Vince Staples to Release New Graphic Novel 'Limbo Beach'
“The story of lost children fighting to regain their stolen youth.”
Following the drop of his single “Law of Averages” in anticipation of the forthcoming album produced by Kenny Beats, Vince Staples debuts a new graphic novel entitled Limbo Beach.
The Compton rapper linked up with Batman & the Outsiders and Titans writer Bryan Edward Hill, Children of the Atom writer Chris Robinson, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles illustrator Buster Moody. According to Z2 comics, the novel is based on the exploits of a group of teenagers who yielded mysterious powers from a theme park called Limbo Beach.
“Limbo Beach is the story of lost children fighting to regain their stolen youth,” said Staples in a statement. “It takes place in a world similar to the one that we all live in, where we are shaped by our experiences and those around us. I appreciate the opportunity to create these stories in a way that I never have before. Hopefully, it is the first of many.”
Limbo Beach in both softcover, hardcover, and bundle editions are now available for pre-order on Z2 Comics’ website with the release slated for this December.
