Reservoir Hydrosphere Bronze Includes Dive Session With Famed Underwater Photographer
Greg Lecoeur Edition includes dive session with Underwater Photographer of the Year.
Reservoir’s latest special edition Hydrosphere dive watch created with Greg Lecoeur, comes with the opportunity to dive with the 2020 Underwater Photographer of the Year later this year.
The 45mm bronze Hydrosphere features a blue sunray brushed dial reflecting the sea bed and Lecoeur’s signature at the three o’clock. Despite the watch being water resistant to 250m, it’s presented in a waterproof case along with a series of underwater Lecoeur’s images.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of the watches will go towards coral replanting through the non-profit organization, Coral Gardeners.
Each buyer of the 50 pieces of the limited edition run will also be given the opportunity to take part in a diving session with Lecoeur in September this year in the Port-Cros national park, Hyères, off the southern coast of France, although they’ll have to cover the costs of transportation, accommodation and insurance themselves.
The Hydrosphere also features a power reserve indicator at the six o’clock position, a helium escape valve and is supplied with both a black rubber and blue fabric strap.
Reservoir Hydrosphere is the only dive watch to adopt the jumping hour/retrograde minute configuration and as such the minute scale etched on the ceramic bezel ring only runs through a 270 degree arc.
The Hydrosphere Greg Lecoeur Edition is out now via Reservoir, priced $4,980 USD.
