As we gear up for the release of yet another Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu and wait for more information on the just-teased NMD S1, the duo has announced a restock of their popular BOOST-equipped Hu Slide.

The first release of the Hu Slide came almost a year ago in July 2020, bringing us “Bright Orange” and “Core Black” slides right in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Perfect for lounging around the home and for walking from your makeshift bed-office situation to the kitchen and back, they sold out almost instantly and became a firm favorite in Pharrell‘s roster of designs. Now, the cozy pair is set to return, this time bringing “Bold Gold” and “Semi Solar Pink” colorways with it.

Staying true to the former pairs, these slides are comprised of a generous full-length BOOST midsole which changes up the iconic Adilette silhouette. Furthermore, they feature a thick, adjustable strap on the front which is perforated with breathable holes, meaning if you’re the type to wear socks by the pool your feet won’t get too hot.

As per all of Pharrell’s work, the footbed of each slide is decorated with details of the human anatomy alongside tonal dual branding. An ergonomic footprint is embedded into the outsole, while “Hu” branding appears in a triangle on the padded strap. On the medial side, you’ll find a plastic clip that locks the strap in place alongside a piece of webbing that’s stitched to the uppers, coming together to complete the adidas slide.

Pharrell and adidas‘ Hu BOOST Slide can be seen above in all four colorways and is expected to drop on the adidas website on June 15, costing £85 GBP a pair (approx. $120 USD).
