Migos Performs New Track 'Avalanche' on 'The Tonight Show'
Ahead of the trio’s upcoming ‘Culture III’ release.
Migos performed a new track, titled “Avalanche,” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night. The single is the latest to drop off the Atlanta trio’s upcoming album Culture III and features an interpolation from The Temptations’ “Papa Was a Rolling Stone.”
Quavo, Offset and Takeoff sported matching black suits, sunglasses and fedoras, while a full-range band equipped with a drummer, electric guitarist, pianist and trumpeter supplemented the song’s bouncing melody.
Culture III is slated to release on Friday, June 11, over three years after the release of the group’s last studio album, Culture II. The hotly anticipated tracklist enlists a top-shelf roster of featured artists, including Drake, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Future, NBA YoungBoy and Polo G, along with posthumous appearances from Juice WRLD and Pop Smoke.
Last month, the trio shared their first single of the year, titled “Straightenin,” which appears on the upcoming album alongside the previously released single, “Need It,” featuring NBA YoungBoy.
In October, fans will be able to experience Culture III during a one-of-a-kind Las Vegas takeover, where the group will host pool parties, club nights and a headlining show.
Migos also recently collaborated with GALLERY DEPT. on a merch collection featuring a bold range of pieces, including a pair of reworked vintage Levi’s 501s, a soccer jersey inspired by the brand’s founder Josué Thomas‘ archive and a distressed reverse-weave hoodie in celebration of the forthcoming album. Indulge in the commemorative range ahead of Migos’ grand return to the charts.
