New Balance Drops Its Vibrant Violet Carbon-Plated Runner
Comfort and protection from 5k to marathon.

Following the launch of its New York City Marathon collection earlier this week, New Balance now unveils its most forward-thinking and innovative race shoe yet, with its latest carbon-plated Fuel Cell RC Elite v2.
A evolution of last year’s RC Elite, this reworked take is again designed to provide both comfort and protection across any distance up to a marathon, the RC Elite v2 has been redesigned with more underfoot cushioning and a more dramatic sweep to its full-length carbon plate.
Thanks to its added cushioning, the RC Elite v2 expertly absorbs shock, providing a catapult-like energy return on the next step. Dressed in a vibrant violet colorway, the knitted upper offers up a lightweight and breathable structure, while a thin, race-ready vamp and strategic 3D-printed medial and lateral logos offer added support across longer distances.
New Balance’s FuelCell RC Elite v2 is available to buy now from Sportsshoes, retailing at £209.99 (approximately $296 USD).
