LEGO‘s latest IDEAS kit to come to life arrives in the form of LEGO Group founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen’s personal typewriter.
The mid-century modern style typewriter sits at 10.5” x 4.5” and features a working roller that feeds real paper, has actuating keys, a center typebar that rises with each keystroke, a carriage that moves each time you type, and is made from 2,079 pieces.
Priced at $199.99 USD, this retro mint-green LEGO typewriter will be made available over on LEGO’s online store in July. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes footage on how this kit was developed in the video below.
