Nike Dunk Low "Halloween" Offers Ghoulishly Good Glowing Details
The perfect shoe for any and all Halloween hijinks.
Halloween may be quite a ways off — we’ve still got a long, hot summer ahead of us after all — but some of Nike‘s plans for the annual celebration of mischief have been revealed thanks to a detailed look at the forthcoming Dunk Low “Halloween.” Showcasing its spooky style in on and off-foot images provided by noted sneaker leaker repgod888, the “Halloween” features an autumnal color scheme and plenty of glowing details, enabling it to serve as an apt follow-up to past seasonal releases from Nike Sportswear like the Air Max 97 “Halloween” or the Air Force 1 “Skeleton.”
Uppers combine white leather toeboxes, quarters and collars with black mudguards, eyestays, heels and heel tabs. This second set of pieces provides the design’s signature detail, namely a glow-in-the-dark print consisting of several spooky sets of eyes. Burnt orange brings pumpkin-inspired flair into the mix on the midfoot Swoosh, nylon tongue and the collar lining. Down below, white midsoles with black contrast stitching and glow-in-the-dark outsoles finalize the look.
Currently, an official release date for the Nike Dunk Low “Halloween” has not been revealed. However, it’ll likely release sometime this October with a yet-to-be-determined MSRP.
Elsewhere in the world of footwear, London-based sneaker store Offspring has apologized for destroying shoeboxes to prevent its stock from being resold.
