Loki Confirmed to Be Bisexual in Latest Disney+ Episode
Minor spoilers ahead.
Just after sharing that Loki is genderfluid, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has also confirmed that the God of Mischief is bisexual. Those who have yet to watch Episode 3 should refrain from reading as this post may contain spoilers.
In the most recent episode of the Disney+ series, Loki, portrayed by Tom Hiddleston has a conversation with Sylvie, a variant of himself portrayed by Sophia Di Martino, on a train. When Loki shares that he’s the Prince of Asgard, Sylvie asks if he was ever involved with a “would-be-princess or perhaps, another prince,” to which Loki replied, “A bit of both.”
Director Kate Herron confirmed that Loki is bisexual, sharing on Twitter that it was important for her to acknowledge this. “From the moment I joined @LokiOfficial it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in #mcu,” she wrote.
