Each week it seems Crocs gets more inventive and daring — take a look at the Balenciaga collaboration if you need any convincing — but now, with its Classic Translucent Clog, Crocs is leaving all the fun up to you.

Served up in “Digital Aqua,” “Candy Pink,” or “White,” the Classic Clog now comes in translucent effects made from a clear rubber composite that features the Jibbitz-holding, water and debris-shedding design alongside spongey Croslite foam. These foam areas make up parts such as the chunky sole unit, the Crocs-branded strap that can be worn at the heel or on the vamp, and the footbed.

There’s very little else happening with the Crocs Clog itself, but that’s the point. Now, your socks can do all the talking — so pair with some brightly colored socks for a bold look, or strip it back for something muted and understated. Regardless, Crocs does also offer a new range of Jibbitz, notably gummy translucent rainbow, pineapple, peach, daisy, and strawberry charms.

The Crocs Classic Translucent Clog can be seen in the lookbook above and is available to purchase from Crocs’ regional Hong Kong website now.

In other news, here are this week’s biggest footwear drops.
