Bottega Veneta Wardrobe 02 Collection Brings Tailoring to New Heights
Featuring an array of head-turning textures and hues modeled by big names including Skepta, Mark Leckey and Melina Matsoukas.
Bottega Veneta has officially launched their Wardrobe 02 collection, featuring a slew of showstopping textures and vibrant colors.
Those looking to spice up their pre-fall “wardrobe” need not look any further than this collection. Bottega Veneta brings together feathers, leather, jewels, velvet and beads to create dazzling details, colors and textiles that contrast with simplistic designs.
The collection emphasizes more structured silhouettes, as seen in the all-leather suits and oversized teddy coats. The brand brings tailoring to a whole new level, matching modern glamor with timeless Bottega flair. Cinched waists and dramatic shoulders are demonstrated throughout the co-ed collection. Dresses adorned with rhinestones and feathers also come together to create a wardrobe of eccentric essentials.
Bottega Veneta’s distinctive approach to crips linears and explosive use of colors are displayed on the velour lounge suits, metal-studded trucker jackets and coated canvas coats. Other pieces that that have showcased the house’s refined tailoring include its staple herrinbone wool overcoats, trim trousers and salt-and-pepper blazers. Black, white, turquoise and BV’s striking shade of green inform the color palette that also features details in canary yellows and deep purples. Accessories for this collection show speak for themselves, including a rubbery knee-high clog boot in various colors and sparkles, as well as chunky bangles, rings and the latest renditions of its cult-favorite intricately woven leather bags and clutches.
The lookbook is modeled by a range of high-profile people, such as British rapper Skepta, British artist Mark Leckey and American director Melina Matsoukas. Check out the full collection above.
