A Race-Ready Italtecnica Ferrari 550 GT1 Is Now up for Sale
Sporting a classic Red Bull livery.

A rare 2000 Ferrari 550 GT1 racecar sporting a Red Bull livery has just landed on RM Sotheby’s auction page.
This 550 is just one of four built and developed by team Italtecnica, and was driven by the likes of Emmanuele Naspetti and Mimmo Schiattarella in the 2001 FIA GT Championship, and by Lorenzo Casè for a 2004 Italian GT Championship third-place finish. Powered by Ferrari’s classic front-engined 6-liter V-12 engine, this chassis 115811 was last owned by an anonymous German collector in 2018 where former JMB engineer Jean-Christophe Noel performed a comprehensive restoration — including reinstating the 2002 Red Bull livery and a complete engine and gearbox rebuild.
With over 11 years of racing history in this car — including a Le Mans class win, two FIA GT championships, and an overall victory at the Spa 24 hours — this racecar will be sold in Milan on June 15 where it is estimated to fetch between €1,800,000 – €2,200,000 EUR (approximately $2,188,000 – $2,675,000 USD).
