French Navy Revives Iconic Partnership With Tudor
Their relationship dates back to the ’50s.
Revisiting some of its early roots, Swiss luxury watchmaker Tudor has now announced a new partnership with the French Navy (aka Marine Nationale), rekindling a relationship that goes back more than half a century.
Many Tudor and watch enthusiasts will know that the brand’s relationship dates back all the way to 1956, just several years after it released its first dive watch. Over the course of the next three decades, the two will collaborate on a vast number of projects, which included the iconic references 7924 and 9401.
While details regarding the specifics of their new partnership remain scarce at this point, you can expect it to involve some form of dive watch and military dive teams, perhaps from the Swiss watchmaker’s Black Bay or Pelagos lineups. Tudor says that there’ll be more updates and announcements in the near future, so fans of the brand should definitely stay tuned for more news to come.
