Nike's Space Hippie 04 Launches With a "Green Glow" Makeover
Another “trashy” rendition to add to your rotation.
Nike‘s push for a greener planet has been guided by many of its footwear initiatives, the biggest one arguably being the ongoing Space Hippie series. One of its members — the Space Hippie 04 — is further expanding its catalog this season with a brand new “Dark Stucco/Green Glow” colorway that has just dropped.
The self-proclaimed “trashy” sneaker adheres to different sides of the color spectrum as it unifies both neutral and neon tones. Full knitted upper layers are mostly formed with that of “Light Bone” outers, and come contrasted by “Dark Stucco” accents that are dispersed to the laces and heel tab on the back side. “Team Orange” accents are embedded into the embroidered Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides as well as the heel’s Nike lettering. The standard “04” model call out lands on the tongue tabs which mix between a white canvas and black font. Down below, the chunky midsole unit overtly stands out as it is treated with a fluorescent “Green Glow” background and speckles that sport a multi-colored aesthetic due to its natural scrap origins.
