maharishi Releases "Pacifist Military Design" With SS21 MILTYPE Capsule
Featuring tees and sweats produced from organic cotton.
After partnering with two record labels recently, London-based maharishi has turned its attention to 100% organic cotton for its new capsule. Everything in the Spring/Summer 2021 MILTYPE capsule is constructed from cotton that was grown without toxic pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
The collection’s title — MILTYPE — is a nod to the graphic language and typography often used on military wear. This aesthetic has been reinterpreted by maharishi, and is referenced through text across sweats and tees declaring the items as “pacifist military design.” As well as classic drab and olive tones, the collection also features seasonal lavender and yellow and contrasting engineered stripes.
