Showtime released another teaser for the revival of its cult series Dexter, hinting at the serial killer’s return to his nature.

The show left off in 2013 with murderer Dexter, played by Michael C. Hall, exiled in the woods as a lumberjack. Showtime released a teaser for the new 10-part series last week, with a voiceover from Dexter, saying: “There really is nothing like getting back to nature…my nature.”

In a new 30-second trailer released on Thursday, we find out more about what’s in store for the vigilante murderer.

The teaser opens up with a fire burning in the snowy woods and zooms out to reveal Dexter inside his cabin. In the reflection of the glass window, we can see a person struggling while being taped down to a table — Dexter’s signature move when killing his victims. Dexter, looking at his victim through the glass, initially looks distraught, but then turns to face the camera and offers a cheeky grin.

The song used in the teaser, Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood,” also offers clues about Dexter’s likely return to murder. “But I’m just a soul whose intentions are good/Oh Lord, please don’t let me be misunderstood,” the song croons.

All past seasons of Dexter are now available to stream on Showtime, so you can catch up on the madness before it comes to crescendo this fall. No official release date has been announced yet, but production for the limited series began in January.

Clyde Phillips will once again serve as showrunner for the series, which takes place after the season 8 finale. Showtime has been tightlipped about whether any of the show’s regulars will be returning, but The Mandalorian‘s Julia Jones is slated to play Angela Bishop, the Chief of Police in her upstate New York town. Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah and Jack Alcott have also been announced as the supporting cast.

In other news, watch and exclusive clip of Michael B. Jordan in his newly-released Tom Clancy‘s Without Remorse film, available now on Prime Video.
