Keen on understated luxury, A Ma Maniére creative director James Whitner took a subtle approach to remastering several of Jordan’s classic silhouettes. A signature flight jacket receives an elevated update with knit jacquard lining and custom co-branded buttons across a monochromatic, light grey hue. Similarly, a heavyweight fleece pullover hoodie enlists French terry fabric and blended embroidery for a more reserved feel, while still placing both brands’ iconography on the center of the silhouette.
A short-sleeve T-shirt fronts simple co-branded graphics atop both grey and faded purple backdrops, while long-sleeve T-shirts make a more direct statement with enlarged branding running down both sleeves in the aforementioned colorways and an additional creme tone. Elsewhere, a woven, high-utility pant requires a more detailed construction, enlisting cargo pockets and adjustable straps down both legs, and the “Diamond Short” taps the previously mentioned knit jacquard and co-branded buttons to enhance an everyday essential.
The Jordan x A Ma Maniére apparel collection will be available to shop on Nike’s webstore on June 10 at 10 a.m. EDT. Prices span from $50 USD to $200 USD across the range.
