Gino Iannucci's POETS Releases SS21 Collection

Gino Iannucci‘s POETS has released its SS21 collection. Full of skate staples like hoodies, crewnecks, t-shirts, hats, beanies and even handmade board hangers, POETS’ latest offering draws upon Iannucci’s decades of experience in the world of skateboarding and offer key details like graphic hits and flocked cotton construction.
Key pieces include the logo-branded “Velvet” crewneck and the playful “Goliath” tees and crewnecks, which lampoon Davey and Goliath — a religious-themed claymation TV show from the 1960s — by showing the titular canine character with a POETS-branded cross in his mouth. There’s also a “Sal” hoodie and tee that work POETS iconography into the graphic of a fictional landscaping company and the “ED3” shirt, which nods to the “Breezy Hill Ham & Eggery” restaurant.
Rounding off the offerings are handmade, individually numbered skateboard hangers, crafted from maple wood in Long Island, NY by artist Mitch Leary. They’re available in aqua, amber and bright red, all of which feature a burned-in POETS logo.
