First Look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Shattered Backboard"
A chopped down variation of the AJ 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard” that dropped in 2016.
The craving for Air Jordan 1 Low OGs is at a new peak in the modern era of sneakers, especially since Houston’s very own Travis Scott put his own earth-toned sensibilities atop the silhouette back in 2019. This year, the model is set to gain more momentum thanks to a handful of makeups, one being this Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shattered Backboard” rendition.
Based off of the way that the trio of tones color-block on this impending installment, the kicks are essentially a lower profiled version of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Reverse Shattered Backboard” that dropped to the public back in 2016. Nylon tongues as well as the leather toe boxes and quarter panels are done up with a white finish, and come neighbored by bright orange overlays and tongue tabs. Notes of stark black are also brought into play and are situated along the Swooshes, shoe strings and ball-and-wings logos that are stamped onto the heels. Moving south, the midsoles are given an angelic complexion, while the treading is filled in with a matching orange paint job.
No release date has been announced just yet, but early reports say that Nike and select retailers will likely be dropping these during Fall ‘21.
