It’s only his second season of being a professional hooper, but Zion Williamson has been everything the world expected him to be in terms of being a high energy, extremely athletic presence on the hardwood. As a signee of Jordan Brand, the 20 year-old monster has been well taken care of on the footwear spectrum as he’s officially unveiled his impending signature Zion 1 silhouette as well as this newly surfaced Air Jordan 35 “Animal Instinct” PE.

Much like his previously dropped Air Jordan 34 “Bayou Boys” PE, this makeup makes a reference to crocodiles and his hyper-reactive style of play on the court as seen through its dusty green and scaly overlays that land across the forefoot and heels. Neighboring these are swampy olive accents that outfit the throat and arching mid-foot cables, as well as a subtle light beige panel which drops off on the toe boxes. Pastel green and black color-blocking also arrives atop the exposed overlay by the ankle and on the laces, the former of which is decorated with black speckles while the latter features abstract diamond shapes. Finishing touches on this court-ready pair are the Eclipse plates which are also devised with green and black speckle patterns as well as the midsoles which are swathed with more muted olive skins.
