Nike's Air More Uptempo "Bulls" Makes a Return
Featuring a detail that nods to a special year for the NBA team.
Nike‘s classic Air More Uptempo “Bulls” is making a return. The Chicago Bulls-inspired design is the newest iteration of the coveted colorway since its last re-release four years ago.
Most of the shoe’s uppers boasts a rich “Varsity Red” palette, complemented by glossy black rubber overlays that make up the silhouette’s “AIR” label. At the top of the shoe are white pull tabs, a white patch logo and white laces, while the rest of the shoe sports red suede. One distinctive feature is a special nod to the year 1996 on the heel — the year where the Bulls achieved a record 72 wins and 10 losses, whilst winning their fourth NBA title in six seasons. Other details like subtle perforations along the sidewalls, a white mini-Swoosh at the toecap and a thick two-toned midsole with a translucent Air sole unit round off this Bulls tribute.
Nike’s Air More Uptempo “Bulls” will be available on Nike’s website on April 16 for $160 USD.
