Following months of teasing, the next installment of 2019 Netflix breakout hit The Naked Director now has a release date.

Season 2 will continue to chronicle the exhilarating story of real-life Japanese Adult Video pioneer Toru Muranishi, played by Takayuki Yamada. Aside from the sex, money and action associated with The Naked Director, the upcoming season will focus on Kaoru Kuroki who is regarded as “the first high-profile AV actress.” Known for not shaving her underarm hair, Kaoru defiant move served as an expression of femininity and helped define her outspokenness on sexuality in Japan.

Catch the announcement teaser above and look for Season 2 of The Naked Director to release June 24 on Netflix.
