Machine Gun Kelly Races For Love On New Track With Travis Barker and Kellin Quinn
The rapper-turned-rocker also announced new tour dates.
Riding the momentum of his first No. 1 album, Tickets to My Downfall, Machine Gun Kelly is back with a new single featuring legendary Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Sleeping With Sirens’s lead singer Kellin Quinn. Titled “love race,” the guitar-backed track offers love-on-the-brain lyricism, brought to life by the 31-year-old artist’s signature rock-infused vocals.
Produced and co-written by Barker with Jared Gutstadt and Jeff Peters of Audio Chateau, the song begins with light, reverb-reliant strums before building into the classic, punk-powerhouse guitar that underscores the chorus. Quinn’s well-known high notes create harmony with MGK’s baritone voice at the song’s peak, where the duo sings, “I’m on the run/To get back to you.”
This latest single drops only three days after Machine Gun Kelly announced his official Tickets To My Downfall Tour, scheduled to commence on September 9 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and end on December 18 in the rapper-rocker’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. According to the official release, special guests will include carolesdaughter, jxdn, and KennyHoopla.
