DMX's Official Memorial Services Have Been Announced
Fans will be able to livestream both services.
DMX, Ruff Ryders leader and rap icon who the world lost earlier this month to a heart attack, will have two memorial services — their dates have just been announced.
The public will be able to livestream both memorials: Celebration of Life memorial, followed by a traditional Homegoing Ceremony. The former will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, livestreamed on DMX’s official YouTube channel. Following this, BET will be broadcasting the Homegoing Ceremony on the next day. While both memorials can be watched online, only close friends and family will be allowed to be at the services.
DMX’s memorial service for Celebration of Life will be held on April 24, 4 p.m. EST, followed by the Homegoing Ceremony on April 25, 2:30 p.m. EST.
