STAMPD Taps Daniel Arsham for "Crystalized Eroded" Surfboards and Apparel

Daniel Arsham, STAMPD‘s designer Chris Stamp and surfboard company Haydenshapes have come together to launch a limited collection of surfboards and apparel titled “Wave Relic.”
Infused with elements of the ocean and technical craftsmanship, the functional lineup spans surfboards, surf gear, T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, jackets, and caps in black and white. Graphics that mimic crystalized erosion and concept maps of the surfboards are seen throughout the assemblage. One noteworthy piece is the sculptural white surfboard designed by Arsham and Haydenshapes with 3D fictional archeological erosions in quartz with selenite detailing.
The groundbreaking “archeologically eroded” surfboard will be launched online on April 30 on Arsham Editions. The other products are slated to debut on May 1 at STAMPD’s online store.
