BornxRaised Again Honors the LA Dodgers With Latest New Era Mash-Up Cap

Mere weeks after celebrating Union LA’s 30th anniversary, BornxRaised is back with the Los Angeles Dodgers for another special spin on the team’s iconic New Era cap. Like previous endeavors, this custom hat is rendered in the team’s classic blue hue, elevated by subtle embroidery.
To the average viewer, the cap would resemble a conventional LA Dodgers hat and reasonably so, considering that it’s rendered in the usual cool hue and finished with a flat brim, LA patch at the front and MLB branding on the rear. Look a little closer, however, and BornxRaised’s signature tonal branding appears beneath the white “LA,” offering a subtle spin on the recognizable design.
This collaboration, the latest in BornxRaised’s long-running Dodgers collaborations, speaks to the streetwear brand’s domestic purview, wherein BornxRaised distinguishes itself from streetwear peers by consistently and proudly showing love to its home city. In the not-so-distant past, the brand has worked with a host of other LA sports teams — including the Los Angeles Rams and Lakers — and plenty of local legends, ranging from Daniel Bernardo “Chaka” Ramos to Stacy Peralta’s Dogtown, establishing BornxRaised as a true product of its environment, born and raised in Los Angeles.
The latest New Era and LA Dodgers cap drops on BornxRaised’s website April 9 for $60 USD.
Meanwhile, New Era’s Japanese branch recently served up collaborations with Dragon Ball Z and Yohji Yamamoto.
