Los Angeles Rams and BornxRaised's New Collaboration Benefits Black and Latinx Communities
Unveiled in a lookbook starring Buddy and Danny Trejo.
BornxRaised‘s hoodies and T-shirts consistently aim to celebrate its hometown of Los Angeles. The brand is furthering that mission through a new collaboration with local football team the Los Angeles Rams, which launches today with a series of co-branded sweats, tees and hoodies. To give back to the local community, a portion of the proceeds from the sales for the collaboration will go to the grassroots organization Brotherhood Crusade, which supports youth in underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
In addition to donating funds to the organization, BornxRaised and the Rams will also partner with Brotherhood Crusade on a personal development and mentorship program. The program will allow Black and Latinx youth supported by the organization to make connections with Rams, BornxRaised and industry professionals.
This is the first partnership between the football team and BornxRaised, but it’s not the first time the label has teamed up with a local sports franchise. Last summer, BornxRaised launched a similar collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Both the Dodgers and the Rams lookbooks were photographed by Los Angeles-based photographer Estevan Oriol. The Rams lookbook was shot on 35mm film and features musician Buddy and actor Danny Trejol (known to many for his work on Breaking Bad) modeling the pieces throughout Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Rams x BornxRaised collection will be available from BornxRaised’s online store starting June 16 at 12 p.m. PDT.
