BornxRaised Rejoins New Era for Instantly-Sold-Out Los Angeles Lakers Collaboration
The first partnership to include both apparel and headwear.
BornxRaised celebrates another group of hometown heroes by again partnering with New Era, following the Los Angeles Dodgers capsule with an array of goods branded with Los Angeles Lakers logos. This partnership takes the joint effort a step further, utilizing large Lakers logos to drive the branding home.
While the Dodgers collaboration was all about tie-dye and oversized co-branding, Lakers imagery is at the heart of the latest BornxRaised x New Era range. Muted black and Lakers gold inform the T-shirts, hoodies and hats, all of which features variations on the stylized prints. BornxRaised logos surround the circular Lakers branding on both layering pieces, while the hoodies sport shortened “BXR” text at the chest and full “BORN-X-RAISED” verbiage across the hood, executed in Lakers blue on the gold pieces.
Meanwhile, the caps are available in one makeup and two styles — a snapback and fitted both feature identical black bases with contrasting gold embroidery and a Lakers logo front and center.
Though the collaborative capsule is sold out on BornxRaised’s web store, New Era’s website still has several items still in stock. Watch the collection’s accompanying clip below for a taste of the LA basketball aesthetic that informs the designs.
